Earl’s Pick

“This is one of my favourite photographs.
Being in the right place at the right time definitely helped. A storm had just ended and the setting sun was focused on the Port Dover Pier. It’s very rare to see such a huge body of water as flat as Lake Erie was and the horizon disappeared into the distant sky obscuring where either began or ended. This photograph placed runner up in Kodak’s moment of the month for April 2009 and was shot on Earth Day.”
